You can have training at your company's steam plant for hands-on training on your equipment like your boiler or your can come to our training center with demonstrations. Industrial Training School has steam turbines and pumps to enhance the students training experience including a boiler, air conditioning and motors. The training rooms are equipped with much more. At the Industrial Training School, our mission is to provide you with the knowledge so you can make better decisions such as maximizing operating efficiencies to the ability to recognize safety issues and hazards. Knowledge is a powerful educational tool. Training Benefits and Licensing Course programs include study materials and text books that will compliment your library when you are done with your course. All students receive at least a diploma or certificate after successful completion and upon passing the course. Students that advance professionally by licensing receive a nationally recognized license through the National Association of Stationary Operating Engineers (NASOE) and American Society of Power Engineers (ASoPE) and taught by an engineer and certified instructor. Industrial Training School is an Authorized School to process license applications for NASOE: Download License Application.![]() Traditional Class Room Courses at Industrial TrainingThe Industrial Training Center is a Trade School with class topics from Boilers, Boiler Codes, Burners and Combustion, Boiler Controls, Boiler Repairs, Heating Plants, Power Plants, Steam Traps, Chillers, Refrigeration HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning), Basic Electricity, Electrical, Instrumentation to Basic Metallurgy. The instructor for class room instruction is Roland O'Brien-Bills, PE with a Masters in Science in Engineering and a Certified Instructor from the National Association of Stationary Operating Engineers (NASOE) and the American Society of Power Engineers. Mr. O'Brien-Bills, PE is also the School's Executive Director. A number of classes may have guest speakers ranging from government agencies to manufacturers.
