All courses are taught by a National Association of Stationary Operating Engineers certified Instructor and / or American Society of Power Engineers Certified Instructor(s). FOEThird Class: Six-Months Accumulated Experience
Provides student the principles to a successful power plant engineering career. A successful student will have unlimited BHP-Rating under supervision as an Assistant to a First Class Power Engineer or have an Unsupervised 150-BHP (LP) Rating. In addition, this course with license provides the student with an Unsupervised 100-Ton Chillers (HVAC) Rating.
This Study course is structured and prepared for your national examination that can be submitted to many jurisdictions for licensing. Provides student with fundamental basic principles to build their power engineering career.
Facility Operating Engineer 3rd Class is an excellent and proper starting point for a Power Engineering professional. As the student gains experience, the they can continue to progress to Facility Operating Engineer 2nd Class and to Facility Operating Engineer 1st Class (Management).
A student that desires further professional knowledge in the profession of Power Engineering, the student can cross over to a Power Plant Operating Engineer. As a career path the earliest progression is to the (PPOE3) Power Plant Operating Engineer 3rd Class when a student has graduated with a license as a Facility Operating Engineer 2nd Class.

If unable to attend the course, substituting another person is acceptable or transferring your registration to another date is permissible without penalty except for licensing. Cancellations two-weeks before the training starts requires $500 forfeiture in the class fee; otherwise, a 50% refund will be given during the last 14-calendar days before class starts.
The School reserves the right to modify course lesson plan because of changes in technology etcetera; furthermore, the School may modify the schedule or substitute speakers without notice because of illness or emergencies.
