As a one-day seminar, the 'Fundamentals of Welding' gives an exact overview of the major welding processes and what a welding limitation are and what is required for a welders proficiency for a sound weld.

The seminar is in a class room setting and the student will not be welding. Welding coupons are available and X-rays and Gamma-rays films of real case problems.
This seminar provides the student with welding safety issues as well as and overview of the following:
- Weld joint design
- Welding Terms & Welding Symbols
- Visual Weld Evaluation
- Mechanical Testing
- Nondestructive Examination
- Weld Discontinuities
The student will also learn about the following major welding processes below:
You will learn the purpose of a weld procedure specification as well as the need for qualification record keeping.
