This class provides student the with the principles to a successful power plant engineering career.
This Study course is structured and prepared for your national examination that can be submitted to many jurisdictions for licensing.
The course objective is to develop the comprehensive thinking related to all aspects of the power plant. You will be able to judge, revise and choose as well as use design, then organize and formulate your decisions as a chief engineer.
Qualifications to Sit for the Class: (Must complete 3-years in a high-pressure plant having steam turbines with supporting documented experience -or- have 2 years in a high-pressure plant having steam turbines and 1 year holding a 1st Class Stationary Steam Engineer license then you can take this class).

- Horsepower (HP),
- Pump Head,
- Pump Displacement.
Steam Turbine Mathematics:
- Over-speed Trip Calculations,
- Condenser Calculations
Power Plant Safety
Federal Regulations: EPA, OSHA, NLRB.
Code Requirements and application: ASME, NBIC, NFPA.
If unable to attend the course, substituting another person is acceptable or transferring your registration to another date is permissible without penalty except for licensing. Cancellations two-weeks (14-days) before the training starts requires $255 forfeiture fee. In addition, cancellations within the two-week period automatically refunds 50% of course fee because another student could have purchased the seat.
The School reserves the right to modify course lesson plan because of changes in technology etcetera; furthermore, the School may modify the schedule or substitute speakers without notice because of illness or emergencies.
